Iowa Hawkeyes head coach Kirk Ferentz set the all-time record for Big Ten wins on Saturday, as the Hawkeyes beat UMass 47-7. It was victory No. 206 for Ferentz, who is in his 27th season at Iowa.
Ferentz passed legendary Ohio State coach Woody Hayes, who won 205 games across 28 seasons from 1951-1978. The Hawkeyes improved to 2-1 and will play their first conference game of the 2025 season next week when they face Rutgers (3-0) on Friday.
