One day Training Classes to the Officers and Staff members of Information and Public Relations Department on issue of Journalist Health Cards was held at the office of the Commissioner, Information and Public Relations Department, here on Wednesday.
Mrs.K.Padma, Chief Executive Officer, Journalist Health Scheme, Hyderabad who visited the Classes informed that User Ids and Passwords has been issued to about 9575 Journalists of Telangana State who were issued Accreditation cards for the year 2017-18 under Renewal and Fresh category on their mobile phones and email Ids. As of now, under Fresh category, 1498 Journalist Health Cards were enrolled, of which 435 were issued health cards. Likewise, under Renewals category, 617 cards were enrolled, of which 458 health cards were issued, she informed.
She asked the journalists who are having Accreditations cards for the year 2017 and 2018 but were not in receipt of User Ids and Passwords may approach the District Public Relations Officers of the district concerned and get fresh User Ids and Passwords for issue of health cards. She appealed the officers and staff members to bestow personal attention and expedite issue of journalist health cards. In case of medical emergencies, health cards are being processed and issued immediately on the request of the card holder, she informed.
He informed that issue of Health Cards this time has been totally digitalised and the journalists need not submit manual application forms as was done earlier, instead fill in application forms online to get health cards.
Mr.E.Venkatesham, Joint Director(MR), Mr.Syed Ahsan Hashmi, Asst.Director, explained in detail the steps to be taken for approval of the online filled application forms. Mr.Y.Venkateshwarlu, Asst.Director, Suryapet District and others were also present.
